Culture is more than a perk—It’s our power
We often talk about workplace culture in terms of perks—ping-pong tables, snack bars, or flexible schedules. But at Flexential, culture is not an accessory to the work. It is the work. It shapes how we show up for each other, how we serve our customers, and how we keep moving forward in a world that doesn’t stand still.

That’s why it’s especially meaningful for us to be recognized not once, but twice, this year for something so fundamental to who we are. Flexential has been named to USA Today’s 2025 Top Workplaces list and Glassdoor’s 2025 Best Places to Work for small and medium businesses—both honors based entirely on what our employees had to say.
There’s no panel of judges. No glossy nomination package. Just real voices from real people who spend their days solving complex problems, supporting one another, and building something bigger than themselves. That’s what makes these awards matter. Because they reflect not a brand campaign, but a lived experience.
So, what does it say about a company when its people rank it among the very best?
It says the foundation is strong—and human.
At Flexential, we talk a lot about trust. Not just because we’re in the business of secure data infrastructure, but because trust is the currency of culture. It’s what allows people to take risks, to share bold ideas, to speak up and be heard. It’s what fuels high performance—not through pressure, but through purpose.
The survey results behind these recognitions measured fifteen cultural drivers, from alignment and execution to connection and belonging. More than 577 of our team members participated. That alone says something about the kind of place this is. People wanted to weigh in, because they care about what we’re building—together.
That word—together—is everything. Our culture doesn’t come from policies or posters. It comes from people. From a technician who helps a teammate troubleshoot at 2 a.m., to a manager who prioritizes professional growth over short-term convenience, to a customer support rep who finds a way to say “yes” when it would be easier to say, “not my problem.” It’s not one thing. It’s everything.
Culture, when it’s real, is the ultimate strategy.
It’s what allows us to scale while staying grounded. It’s what fuels innovation without burnout. It’s what helps us recruit not just the most qualified candidates, but the most aligned. People who are looking not just for a job, but for a community of shared values and shared responsibility.
And yes, it’s what helps us retain great talent—because people don’t leave when they feel seen, heard, and empowered. They stay. They grow. And they bring others with them.
There is still so much we want to do. These awards are not the end of the story; they are a milestone along the way. But they affirm that we’re building on the right foundation. That our focus on respect, collaboration, and shared success isn’t just the right thing to do—it’s the smart thing to do.
